Department of Homeland Security (DHS CISA)
National Brand Campaign
As the lead designer for CISA’s national public awareness and outreach program, “Secure Our World,” I brought together cross-functional teams and stakeholders to establish a unified brand identity and a suite of supporting multi-platform campaigns, following accessibility standards and incorporating translations for certain campaign elements.
Branding
High-Visibility Motion (Super Bowl LVIII & LIX, Nasdaq sign)
Live Action PSA (Web & National Broadcast)
Animated PSA, Music Video Mini-Series (Web & National Broadcast)
Event Materials (example: U.S. Cyber Trust Mark booth video )
Print Collateral (tip sheets, resources, etc)
Digital Billboards & Airport Ads (major U.S. cities)
Web Banners (Live Nation)
Radio Ads (iHeart Radio)
In-Store Audio Ads (Walmart)
Olympic Taggables (CBS)
Social Media (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X)
The bold color palette and distinct visual language set the program apart from other government initiatives, helping it cut through the noise and connect with a broad public audience.
High-Visibility Event
Motion Graphics & Video
Elevating brand reach and recognition.
I led high-impact creative showcased across three campaigns on the Nasdaq Tower in NYC and during Super Bowl LVIII & LIX.
These high-visibility platforms demanded innovative visual storytelling due to strict limitations—no audio for both and custom layouts to accommodate the Nasdaq sign’s physical cutouts.
An alternate version of the live-action Super Bowl video with voice-over allowed versatility in applying the campaign to social media and television broadcast channels.
Live Action Video PSA
Why settle for ordinary when an educational campaign can be bold, memorable, and culturally relevant?
When CISA challenged us 3 weeks before the PSA shoot to switch gears and make it Wes Anderson-inspired to capitalize on the momentum of an upcoming movie release, I jumped at the opportunity! This required a full transformation: updated storyline, visuals, wardrobe, sets, the works!
I led the creative development of this PSA, transforming a bold concept into a nationwide initiative. Hands-on, from concept through final broadcast, I oversaw design and motion direction across multiple channels. The campaign achieved OVER 4 BILLION IMPRESSIONS through paid and donated media, movie theater placements, radio ads, in-store audio, web placements, and social media.

Animated PSA Mini-Series
Using nostalgic pop culture references, we were able to connect audiences of all ages and empower them with cyber safety awareness.
Calling back to the educational videos of my childhood, and following CISA’s whimsical request, I drove the development of an animated mini-series of educational music videos inspired by Schoolhouse Rock.
Transitioning our beloved Wes Anderson-style character duo, Max and Kevin, into Schoolhouse Rock characters took our public campaign to a new level. The first video in the series was broadcast like its live-action counterpart and was followed by 4 additional one-minute animations focused on each of the core 4 cybersecurity behaviors in the Secure Our World program.

Instructional Videos Mini-Series
Raising awareness is important, but teaching someone how to take action leads to increased behavior change.
I created motion graphics for a mini-series of “how to” UI educational videos for cybersecurity best practices. Diving into the user interface and showing examples of how to follow settings or spot scams themselves teaches the viewer how easily cybersecurity can be implemented into their daily lives.
